Private Event Insurance FAQs
Residents of U.S. may purchase coverage. The Insured/Policyholder must be at least 18 years of age. A honoree will always be defined as an insured on the policy but may or may not be the named insured. The Named Insured can be either of the honorees or someone such as a parent or other family member that has a financial stake in the event. Please note: The Protector Plan® for Events is currently not available to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, & Louisiana.
Should you experience a covered loss, your non-recoverable costs can be as much, if not more, than the cost of an automobile. The quality of your event may depend upon your decision to insure against financial loss. For example, you buy insurance to provide a replacement automobile against unfortunate mishaps. Why not protect your event like you would your other valuable investments? For examples of possible event day disasters see Why Private Event Insurance.

It is recommended that you choose a coverage level equal to the amount you would stand to lose in a worst-case scenario if you were forced to reschedule your event at the last minute. Consider costs and deposits of venue, honoree event attire, special jewelry, caterers, entertainment, flowers, cake, invitations, even postage, etc. Protector Plan® for Events Quick Quote

Coverage can be purchased as early as 2 years before your event day and as late as 24 hours before your event. We recommend you purchase coverage as soon as you begin making deposits and purchases for this event.
